Mushroom capsules have never been more in demand. It’s not hard to see why – across their broad taxonomy, there exists a dizzying range of culinary uses and nutrient-rich characteristics.
But that’s not the driving force behind the 21st-century ‘shroom renaissance. A growing amount of research could point to certain mushrooms possessing a variety of latent health benefits, too.
While that’s an exciting line of thought, there's a chance you also have questions about functional mushroom capsules that are a little bit more, well, functional.
If you're wondering how to take them for the best results, you've come to the right place; we've spent years foraging for the best fungi extracts and have ample experience when it comes to getting the most out of them.
But first, a bit more about those scientific findings.
What are the Potential Health Benefits of Mushroom Capsules?
Our selection of mushroom capsules is a whos’ who of fungi superstars. The most well known among them are heavy-hitters like Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, and Chaga, but each one has a long and storied history of being used for both nutritional supplementation and medicinal treatment*.
Below is a non-exhaustive, study-backed list of some of the potential health benefits of those aforementioned ‘shrooms*. We had to be selective; if we were to list them all, we’d be here for a long time. Don't forget, every single one of our capsules is 20% off for Black Friday.
Chaga
- High fibre

While these studies aren't incontrovertible proof that these mushrooms definitively offer said benefits, they're extremely promising nonetheless. If you're as excited by them as we are, you'll be chomping at the bit to start building your capsule collection.
But we know it's not that simple for everyone. Perhaps you're on board with the speculative health benefits, but there's one thing that's holding you back. Maybe you find yourself asking...
That All Sounds Great, But What If I Don’t Like Mushrooms?
Not an issue. The mushrooms are contained within a vegan-friendly capsule made from two naturally occurring compounds: silica and magnesium stearate. This outer shell performs two roles.
It safely encases the all-important contents within a tasteless, naturally-derived capsule, and is designed to break down easily within the body once ingested. This ensures you get all of the good stuff in a tasteless, natural, easily-digestible package.
How Do I Take Mushroom Capsules for Best Results?
As with everything supplementation, it's not enough to just occasionally throw a bunch of pills into your mouth at random intervals and hope for the best. If you're serious about seeing results, you need to be serious about your dosage schedule.
This is made easier by the fact that the measurements and directions for each mushroom capsule supplement are the same across our range – the only thing that changes is what's inside.
In every bottle you’ll find 90 capsules, each holding 450mg of your chosen fungi extract. Simply take 3 tablets 1-3 times a day, with or without food (they also go down rather nicely with a cup of mushroom coffee, as it happens).
For best results, we recommend taking any of our functional mushroom capsules for at least 3-4 weeks. But this can vary person to person, and you might need to maintain your dosage for longer than that to get the most from your supplementation.
Summary
For all the magic these mushrooms might just possess, it's important to remember that a proper dosage plan must be followed in order to maximise results*.
While mushroom capsules and everything that surrounds them might feel complex, actually using them really isn’t. 1-3 times a day, with or without food. Simple!
