Are the mushrooms organic?

All our mushroom products are USDA Certified. The mycelial biomass is cultivated on Certified 100% Organic whole oats that have been steam- and pressure-sterilised (autoclaved).

Are the mushrooms gluten-free?

All our mushrooms are grown on 100% Organic Oats, which are naturally gluten-free. Many producers grow their mushrooms on rice, which naturally has high levels of gluten present. No preservatives or fillers are added to our mushrooms.

Are the mushrooms GMO-free?

All our mushrooms are grown on 100% Organic Oats which have not been genetically modified.

Do the mushrooms have medicinal properties?

We make no medicinal claim for any of our products. Our products are for nutritional use only. Please contact your Healthcare Practitioner for advice on what products might be suitable for you.

What are the benefits of the products?

Mushrooms have been traditionally used for thousands of years. Numerous published research articles have established the incredible health benefits of these unique and powerful tonic mushrooms. Each type of mushroom contains its own special benefits; naturally aiding wellness, brain health, sports performance and recovery.

Can I take this with medication?

Yes. While mushrooms are a natural product, we always recommend consulting your physician.

How are the mushrooms grown?

Our organic mushrooms are grown through a full spectrum life-cycle including myceliated biomass and fruit bodies. After cooling, the sterilised oats are inoculated with the pure and proprietary mushroom strains and are sealed in engineered “bioreactor” growing bags equipped with air filters to exclude airborne contamination and to allow the mushroom cultures to ”breathe” during the controlled incubation/fermentation period.  

The growing facility is equipped with High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filtration utilising aseptic, cleanroom Solid State Fermentation production methodologies.  Processing (dehydration, milling, blending) and packaging are also done in a building equipped with HEPA air filtration using documented cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) compliant procedures.

The mushrooms are carefully dehydrated at low temperatures to retain all enzymatic activity. In addition, UV light is used to increase naturally occurring Vitamin D. The result is a whole, raw food, gluten-free, non-GMO product with naturally occurring antioxidants and other vital nutrients. The facility is Certified 100% Organic and conforms to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This ensures the highest quality and efficacy.

Where do you grow your mushrooms?

Our mushrooms are grown and processed in California then packaged in the United Kingdom all within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facilities.

Do the mushrooms contain preservatives or colourings?

None of our products contain any preservatives or colourings.

Are the mushrooms suitable for taking during pregnancy or nursing?

Please contact your Healthcare Practitioner should you be pregnant or nursing.

Is the mushroom powder flavoured?

All our USDA Certified Mushroom Powders are unflavoured — they have a natural, “earthy” flavour.

How much mushroom powder should I use?

Please read the product label for advice on how much of the mushroom powder to take. Alternatively, consult your Healthcare Practitioner.

Should I take the powder with food?

It is not necessary to mix our mushroom powder with food. However, mushroom powders may be more palatable when mixed with milk, yoghurt or smoothies. Our mushroom powders should not be mixed with citrus fruit juice.

Are there any other ingredients added to the mushroom powder?

No other ingredients, only the pure USDA Certified mushroom powder.

Are there any other ingredients added to the mushroom capsules?

A small quantity (2%) of magnesium stearate and silica is added to the mushroom capsules.
