Making a Cordyceps Espresso

For those who prefer a quick pick-me-up to get your day kickstarted into action. Here's a quick and easy recipe to infuse one of the most popular health mushrooms, Cordyceps with strong espresso to give you that caffeine-fueled buzz...
  

Ingredients Needed

- French press

- 36g of espresso roast coffee 

- 205ml hot water

- 1 teaspoon Cordyceps mushroom powder

- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

   

Step 1 - Grind the Coffee

Grind your espresso roast into a medium fine ground. Heat your water to hot, but not boiling. 

Step 2 - Add a French Touch 

Add the ground espresso to the French press, then top up with the hot water and stir thoroughly. Wait around 4 minutes. 

Step 3 - Add some Cordyceps to the Mix

Measure out 1 teaspoon of Cordyceps mushroom powder and mix with the vanilla extract into your espresso mixture for around 10 seconds using the French press. 

Step 4 - Create your Masterpiece

Place the lid on the press slowly the whole way down. Grab an espresso cup and serve straight away to enjoy!
