Collection: Sleep & Stress

Mushrooms traditionally used for calm, balance, and rest. Reishi, in every format the tradition uses.

Mushrooms for Sleep & Stress

Reishi has been one of the most respected mushrooms in traditional wellness for over two thousand years. We stock it in three formats: capsules for daily ease, powder for stirring into evening drinks, and dried slices for the traditional method of simmering in water. Whichever you choose, the ritual is part of the point.

Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum)

Known as Ling Zhi in traditional Chinese medicine and sometimes called the mushroom of immortality, reishi has a long history of use in Eastern wellness. It has a slightly bitter, earthy taste and is traditionally taken in the evening. Ours is cultivated on gluten-free oats, USDA Organic certified, and tested in US and German certified laboratories.

Why this collection?

Reishi is an adaptogen, meaning it may help the body adapt to stress and maintain balance. It may support relaxation, promote a sense of calm, and contribute to better sleep quality over time. It's the mushroom people reach for at the end of the day rather than the beginning.

How to take it

Capsules are the most straightforward. Take one or two in the evening with water. Powder dissolves into warm drinks, golden milk, or herbal tea. The dried slices are for anyone who wants to brew reishi the traditional way, simmered in water for 20 to 30 minutes, then strained and drunk as a tea.

Important: These are food supplements, not medicines, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Enjoy as part of a varied, balanced diet. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medication, speak to your GP before use.
